Professor Robert Drewes, PhD, is an American biologist with a permanent fascination for the African continent, having conducted field research in 30 different countries in Africa since 1969, including Sao Tome and Principe. Drewes' research interests includes the comparative physiology of frogs and he serves on the board of the Department of Wildlife in Kenya. He is also Curator of the Department of Herpetology at the Academy of California.
