Putting the 'Music' Back into 'Classical Music' | Luka Marinkovic | TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. In this presentation, Luka will explore the misconceptions surrounding classical music and draw similarities between contemporary popular music and classical music.


Luka Marinkovic was born in Grenoble, France and is an 11th grade student at Riverwood International Charter School in Atlanta, GA. He has performed at the Schwartz Center at Emory University as well as Disney Hall in Los Angeles, and won the 2012 Atlanta Music Club Scholarship. His hobbies include playing piano, running, hiking, and painting, and his future career plans include being a math or physics researcher.
