Robyn is a junior with high hopes for college. She hails from South Central Los Angeles and has found the transition to school on the westside of LA to be an eye-opening experience. Robyn hopes to use her ability to bridge the gap between worlds to help her in a career in media or television.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
