In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Most people speak and think frequently in terms of needs. I need to go to buy groceries; you need to be nice to me; we need to talk. In his TEDx presentation, Mr. Fischer will explain why "need" is one of the most dangerous words in the English language, how it adversely effects emotion and behavior, and—most importantly—what we can do to liberate ourselves from the bonds of this four-letter word, once and for all. When we do so, we discover the joyfulness of freedom that is rooted in one simple yet profound truth: there are no needs!
