Erin Clemens is a 24 year old woman who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 15. She has delivered presentations to professionals and students in public and private schools. In addition to these presentations, Erin also speaks at BRHS training workshops. Her speaking engagements are designed to educate professionals and students on topics related to autism, using her personal experiences as a vehicle.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
