This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. The talk explores the main results and projects related to a 10 years research focused on the the political dimension of the living rom and how architecture, design and decoration can add a new, more connected, more political and committed role to spaces historically devoted to privacy and isolation. This talk has been recorded at the first TEDx event held in the open air, by night, by and for the community, with zero budget, in the public square: the Campo de Cebada in Madrid. In order not to disturb the neighbors, the audience practices the "deaf applause", and this is the reason for all those moving hands!

Roberto Gonzalez is an architect and works for the Office for Political Innovation by Andres Jaque. This architectural firm explores the role of architecture in the construction of societies, and has created famous claims such as "architecture in the represented society". Currently the Office for Political Innovation focuses on domestic spaces and their political dimension and has been awarded with the Silver Lion to the best research project at the Biennale of Venice 2014.
