Through Adversity to the Stars: Veton BREZNICA at TEDxTirana

If someone asked him what is the best thing he has ever done in his life, Veton Breznica's answer would be, "believing in my dreams". Dreaming of becoming a pilot in a country where the atrocities of war and scent of gunpowder were still fresh in the collective psyche, for many was absurd, but not for Veton. Instead of making him stop dreaming, this motivated him to accelerate the efforts and turn it as quickly as possible into a reality.
Only 19 years old, Veton Breznica became the first aviation ambassador and glider pilot of the Republic of Kosovo. Later, he was instrumental in the establishment of AirCadets -- Kosova; an NGO for aviation minded youth, aiming to produce the next generation of aviation professionals in Kosovo. Now, with more than seven years of active aviation training and personal development, Veton has gained international recognition for his achievement.
