Her credits also include Secret Laughter of Women, a full-length screenplay written and produced by Misan Sagay (Elba Films) with Handmade Films, which premiered at the London Film Festival 1999 and Their Eyes were Watching God, an adaptation for Harpo Films/HBO for ABC. It was produced by Oprah Winfrey and Quincy Jones. It starred Halle Berry in an EMMY nominated role.
