Allegro from Sonatina by Moreno-Torroba: Svanur Vilbergsson at TEDxReykjavík

Svanur Vilbergsson is a three-time recipient of grants from the Cultural Council of Iceland, and has given concerts at the King's Chapel Concert Series in Boston, the Bonnenfanten Museum (Maastricht, Holland), Encontre internacional de compositors, Illes Balears, and the Great Hall of Devon (England).

Past performances include recitals in Boston, Seattle, and Majorca. The Spanish composer Mateau Malondra Flaquer has dedicated works to Svanur and in February 2014 Svanur premiered alongside the Reykjavík Chamber Orchestra a new guitar concerto written by the composer Oliver Kentish and dedicated to Svanur.
