China’s Belt and Road Initiative will be more closely connected in logistics and maritime services over the next five years, said Victor Fung of the Fung Group at the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference 2017 opening plenary. Keynote speaker Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Thailand’s Transport Minister, spoke of forging new links with the Chinese mainland, while Henry Ko of Flexport described Hong Kong’s talent advantages in “smart logistics”.
