Hong Kong headquartered brokerage and investment group CLSA views China’s Belt and Road Initiative as positive for Asia – and sees its own role in the Initiative as very strong. As Chairman Jonathan Slone points out, CLSA’s parent company CITIC Securities is a full service investment group in China while CLSA’s local offices are across many Belt and Road countries. He says Hong Kong has played a highly significant role in CLSA’s growth.
