David Whitesock at TEDxSiouxFalls

David Whitesock is an addiction survivor and in long-term remission from the disease. He is an advocate for greater awareness of addiction, mental health issues, and recovery. As Director of Evaluation & Affiliate Development at Face It TOGETHER®, he's working to solve the disease of addiction by leading the development their evaluation and research programs, working with integrated health systems to mainstream addiction care into health care, and leading the organization's affiliate development program.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
