You have to try out this melt-in-the-mouth pastry recipe! These pastry rolls are very popular appetizers in Turkey and they are definitely one of my favorite börek recipes ????

Ingredients

1 phyllo pastry (50 cm diameter of round shape)
1 tomato
1 long green pepper
1 capia pepper
150 g of grated mozzarella
150 g of sliced pastrami (beef bacon)
Vegetable oil

Preparation

1- Saute 1 finely chopped long green pepper and 1 capia pepper with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes. Set aside to cool down.
2- Cut the phyllo pastry into 6-8 pieces.
3- For the filling; combine cooled down peppers with 1 diced tomato, 150 g of sliced pastrami and 150 g of grated mozzarella. Mix thoroughly.
4- Place generous amount of filling on the long edge of the phyllo pastry, fold the edges inward and roll.
5- Fry the rolls by rotating.
6- Serve immediately.
7- Enjoy!
