Take a trip to Madagascar! with the Wildlife Conservation Society via our Google+ Hangout on Air, meet the Bronx Zoo’s red-ruffed lemurs, and learn how they play a role in human health in Madagascar. WCS HEAL Director Chris Golden is studying the connection between the environment and human health, and his findings are helping establish sustainable solutions, protecting Madagascar’s unique wildlife, and promoting healthy diets for local Malagasy. Cindy Maur, a wild animal keeper at the Bronx Zoo, will provide insight into animal care at the zoo and provide an up-close look at red-ruffed lemurs.
