Making school walls transparent: Chris Williams at TEDxPocklington

Chris is an experienced primary school teacher who has developed distinct classroom approaches which make an impact on teaching standards. Chris has presented his work at theiPad Summit in Atlanta USA and recently in London for the National Literacy Trust. He and his colleague David Andrews launched mrandrewsonline.blogspot.com, a blog to show teachers how to inspire learning using technology and by connecting to the global community. The blog has had 500,000 visitors and since April Chris has worked with staff from over 200 schools around the UK.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
