Only 17 years old, Jen Turner has already written more than eighty songs and is emerging well beyond her years as one of New Zealand's world-class singer-songwriters. She's quickly becoming a local musical superstar through her live performances under Fledge management and is working towards commercial releases in 2014. It's with great excitement that we welcome Jen to grace our stage with her mastery of melody at TEDxChristchurch 2013: Curiouser and Curiouser.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
