Rethinking Population: Sheril Kirshenbaum at TEDxMonterey

In her informative and inspiring TEDxMonterey talk, Sheril Kirshenbaum shows us that what matters most is how we choose to live. Sheril works to enhance public understanding of science and improve communication between scientists, policymakers, and the public. She is the Director of The Energy Poll at The University of Texas at Austin and the author of two books, Unscientific America (with Chris Mooney) and The Science of Kissing. Her writing regularly appears in magazines, newspapers, and scientific journals and she has been featured in the Best American Science Writing anthology series.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
