You'll need
For the pasta:
1 packet pasta
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
Hot water
For the bechamel sauce:
100g butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 1/2 cups milk (700ml)
1/2 tsp salt
For the filling:
250g white cheese
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For the topping:
250g mozzarella cheese, grated
1 cup = 200 ml
Here's how
Add vegetable oil and salt to boiling water.
Once boiling, add the pasta and let it cook.
For the bechamel sauce, melt butter in a suitable saucepan.
Add flour once the butter is melted. Stir continuously and cook until the flour loses its raw smell.
Slowly add the milk while stirring. Be cautious not to let it clump, and keep the heat moderate to prevent burning.
When the sauce begins to thicken, add salt and stir again.
Transfer the boiled pasta to a deep bowl after draining the water.
Pour the prepared bechamel sauce over the pasta.
Add crumbled white cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
Lightly grease the base of a large rectangular baking dish or any oven-safe dish with a similar size.
Transfer the mixed pasta with bechamel sauce to the baking dish.
Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top, then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 30 minutes.
Once the top turns golden brown, your baked pasta is ready to be served.
Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
