Here comes an incredible cauliflower dish made of simple ingredients. If you haven’t tried cauliflower in béchamel sauce before, you must give this delicious recipe a try! ????

You'll need
1 cauliflower
1 teaspoon salt
Juice of a quarter lemon
For the minced meat layer;
2 onions
2 green peppers
1 red pepper
5 tablespoons oil
300g minced meat
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
120 ml hot water
For the béchamel sauce;
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
For the top;
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Parsley
1 cup = 200 ml
Here's how
1 - Cut cauliflower into florets and put them in a pot.
2 - Add 1 teaspoon of salt, juice of a quarter of a lemon and enough water to cover it, let it boil until soft.
3 - Chop 2 onions into small pieces.
4 - Chop the peppers after removing their core and seeds.
5 - Pour 5 tablespoons of oil into the pan.
6 - Add 300g minced meat and cook until the color changes.
7 - Add the chopped onion and peppers and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
8 - Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes and stir-fry for 2-3 more minutes.
9 - Add 120 ml of hot water and cook until water is absorbed.
10 - Transfer the boiled cauliflower to an ovenware. Spread the minced meat mixture over the cauliflower.
11 - For the bechamel sauce, melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan.
12 - Whisk in 3 tablespoons of flour and cook, stirring constantly, until the paste cooks and bubbles a bit.
13 - Add 3 cups of milk, continuing to stir as the sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste, cook, stirring for 2 to 3 minutes more.
14 - Pour the bechamel sauce over the minced meat layer.
15 - Cook for 35 minutes in a preheated 180°C oven.
16 - Sprinkle 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese on top, place back in the oven and cook until the cheese melts, about 15 minutes.
17 - Sprinkle with parsley. Once cooled, slice and serve!
