Dopamine's Effects on Learning and Memory: Eric Marr at TEDxCCS

Eric is a graduate of Spokane Community College and Eastern Washington University, where he currently conducts dopamine research in the neuroscience lab. He turned down a coveted spot in dental school to further his research on learning and will continue in a neuroscience PhD program. Before becoming a professional student, Eric traveled with a rock band, worked in finance and in retail. He has plenty of time to ponder his research during cross-country rides on his Kawasaki Vulcan to visit little-known bergs and byways.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
