One Diet Change: Duane Sunwold at TEDxCCS

Duane Sunwold, Culinary and Hotel-Restaurant Management Instructor, has been teaching at SCC since 1981 wherehe has influenced countless chefs and hotel managers. Duane has published dozens of journal articles and given numerous talks on hies life-saving diet and his transformation as a chef with a nutritional focus. An alumnus of SCC and the Southern Alberta Institure of Technology, Duane once served as guest chef to Bill Gates and to the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary AB, Canada. He is currently writing a cookbook for patients with chronic kidney disease.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
