Shell Dessert is like classic shekerpare with tahini and walnut in the dough. The interesting easy shell like shape makes it very pretty too.
Ingredients for Shell Dessert "İstiridye Tatlısı"
150gr. butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp tahini paste
3/4 cup semolina
3/4 to 1 cup coarsely ground walnuts
about 2 cups flour or more (use less at first)
2 tsp baking powder
1 pack vanilla powder or 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the syrup (sherbet)
3+1/2 cups sugar
3+1/2 cups water
1 wedges of lemon
