Hopscotch, Leapfrog or the High Jump: Sarah Dixon @TEDxSuzhou

Sarah Dixon is Dean of International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU). She had 23 years' international management experience for Shell International. Her living and strategic leadership experience in multiple countries (UK, Austria and Russia) provided her deep insight on global cultural and economic situations. In 2002, she made a successful transition to academia and worked for Kingston University and University of Bath. Then she worked as Dean of Bradford University School of Management, which gained triple crown accreditation under her leadership. In 2013, she joined XJTLU to lead IBSS to fulfill its vision to become one of the top business schools worldwide. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
