This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Cadmus introduces us to his culture, his community and life as a member of the Cowessess First Nation living off-reserve. With charm, insight and comedic timing, he warmly invites us in to know his experience and learn from his diverse perspective.

Cadmus Delorme is a 31-year-old Cree and Salteaux male and member of the Cowessess First Nation.
Cadmus enjoys a substance-free lifestyle and thrives on challenges in life. Whether it may be on the golf course, kettle bell weight training classes, recruiting for the First Nations University of Canada, or calling bingo on the reserve, you will see his smile and hear his laughter throughout. Cadmus recently graduated with a Business Administration degree from the FNUC. He is proud to share he is a second-generation alumnus, following his mother, Charlotte Bear.
Cadmus' drive in life is to create more freedom for people, especially First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people. His passion for learning, staying open minded, and pushing the status quo has inspired him to seek a Master's of Business Administration at the University of Regina.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
