You’ll need
500 g cubed beef
4-5 tbsp vegetable oil
2 capia peppers
2 green peppers
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp pepper paste
Salt
Ground black pepper
Red pepper flakes
4 eggplants
2 potatoes, sliced
2 tomatoes, grated
200 ml hot water
Here’s how
1- Put 500 g of cubed beef in a pot and cook until water has disappeared.
2- Then, add 4-5 tbsp of vegetable oil, 2 chopped capia peppers, 2 chopped green peppers, 1 chopped onion, 1 clove of garlic, 1 tsp of pepper paste and mix.
3- Finally, add salt, ground black pepper and red pepper flakes and close the lid.
4- Remove from the heat when peppers and onions are soft.
5- Fry the eggplants that you thinly peeled lengthways with vegetable oil.
6- Drain and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
7- Line up the fried eggplants side by side closely on the edge of a springform pan.
8- Cover the bottom of the pan with sliced potatoes.
9- And place the cooked beef in the center. Then, pour grated tomatoes on top and cover the top with sliced potatoes again.
10- Finally, pour 200 ml of hot water and fully cover the top with the eggplants. It’ll look like this.
11- Bake at 200°C until golden brown in color.
12- Remove the springform pan after taking it out of the oven. Decorate with chopped parsley and cherry tomatoes and serve! Enjoy!
