Ingredients
4 grated carrots
¾ cup of granulated sugar
200 g of roughly crushed biscuits
1 cup of crushed walnuts
Grated coconut
Cream
800 ml of fresh milk
2 tbsp of all purpose flour
1 ½ tbsp of starch
5 tbsp of granulated sugar
2 tsp of vanilla sugar
Preparation
1- Combine 4 grated carrots with ¾ cup of granulated sugar in a skillet and cook for 20 minutes on low heat by stirring occasionally.
2- Let the carrots cool a little, then add 200 g of roughly crushed biscuits and 1 cup of crushed walnuts. Mix all the ingredients with a spoon.
3- For the cream; gather 2 tbsp of all purpose flour, 1 ½ tbsp of starch, 5 tbsp of granulated sugar, 2 tsp of vanilla sugar and 800 ml of fresh milk in a pan. Whisk until boils and thickens.
4- Wet an ovenware lightly and sprinkle with grated coconut. Spread the carrot mixture on top.
5- Pour the cream on top of the carrot mixture and flatten with a spatula.
6- After being cooled, sprinkle with some more grated coconut and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
7- Carrot dessert is ready to serve. Enjoy!
