Curating A Winning Team: Larry Huras at TEDxLugano

In his years as a head coach of various professional hockey teams in Europe, Larry Huras has become very experienced in both winning (seven national championships, four European cups) and losing (which explains why his wife is such a great packer when it is time to pick up and move...again). Through it all, he has gained certain insights that he loves to share with people that really care about the team building process.

In this video Larry shares with us his key to building a winning team: living in the un-natural. Although there are many key ingredients to team success, Larry feels that commitment and pushing past boundaries is what distinguishes the true standouts. There are tactics and management styles that help promote this kind of thinking -- something Larry tries to bring to every team he coaches.
