This simple tiramisu cake tastes fancy without all the work. It is perfect for gatherings or special occasions at home. Using a ready-made cake base is a real time-saver! ????????????
You'll need
1 ready-made chocolate cake
For the cream:
3 cups milk (600 ml)
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla sugar
180g labneh cheese
To soak the cake:
1 packet 3-in-1 instant coffee
1 cup hot water (200 ml)
For the topping:
Cocoa powder
1 cup = 200 ml
Here's how
Take an egg in a small saucepan. Whisk the egg well before turning on the heat.
Add sugar, flour, and milk. Mix all the ingredients and start cooking.
While cooking, be sure to keep the heat at medium and stir constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
Once the cream boils and thickens, cook it for an additional 5 minutes and then remove it from the heat.
If possible, transfer it to a separate bowl to cool down faster.
Once it reaches room temperature, add labneh cheese and vanilla sugar.
Mix until it becomes smooth and creamy, using a mixer if necessary.
In a bowl, combine instant coffee and hot water, stirring until the coffee dissolves.
Spread 1-2 tablespoons of the prepared cream on a serving plate.
Place the ready-made chocolate cake on the plate and thoroughly soak it with the cooled coffee mixture.
Spread some of the cream on top of the soaked cake, covering it completely.
After soaking the top of the cake with coffee, place it on top of the cream.
Cover the entire cake with the remaining cream and sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
Ideally, let the cake rest in the refrigerator for 1 night, or if you're in a hurry, at least 3-4 hours.
Slice and serve as you wish. Enjoy!
