The Best Apple Cake Ever! ???????? #recipe

A deliciously easy apple cinnamon cake made from scratch.
This soft and tender apple cake is packed with fresh apples and features a crunchy topping of walnuts with coconut flakes, adding delightful flavors and textures. ????????

You'll need

3 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil (200 ml)
1 cup yogurt
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp vanilla sugar
2 tsp baking powder

For the topping:
3 apples
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp desiccated coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup = 200 ml

Here's how

Beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture becomes frothy. Add vegetable oil, yogurt, flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Continue to mix until well combined.
Pour the prepared cake batter into a 29x29 cm baking dish.
Mix the diced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon powder, and sugar. Spread this apple mixture evenly over the cake batter.
Sprinkle chopped walnuts and desiccated coconut on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) without the fan, for approximately 40 minutes.
Once the apple cake is baked and has cooled, slice it into pieces and serve. Enjoy!
