You’ll need

For the syrup;
200 ml water
¾ cup granulated sugar

For the dough;
125g butter
1 egg
120 ml vegetable oil
½ cup icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp cocoa powder
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Here's how

1. First, prepare the syrup. In a pot, mix together 200 ml of water and ¾ cup of granulated sugar and boil.
2. Let it boil for about 5 minutes and transfer into a bowl to let it cool.
3. For the dough, mix 125 g of room temperature butter, 1 egg, 120 ml of vegetable oil, ½ cup of icing sugar, 2 tsp of vanilla sugar, 2 tsp of baking powder, 3 tbsp of cocoa powder and half of the flour.
4. Add the remaining flour and mix.
5. Then knead the dough by hand.
6. Line an oven tray with parchment paper.
7. Take walnut-sized pieces of the dough, roll each into a ball and shape them.
8. You’ll have about 30 cookies with these ingredients.
9. When you finish shaping, bake in an oven preheated to 200° about 10 minutes.
10.After baking, dip each cookie, one at a time, into the syrup, taking care to have it completely covered.
11. Decorate the cookies with pistachio powder or shredded coconut before serving.
12. Brownie cookies are ready to serve. Enjoy!
