250 g butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tsp baking powder
3 1/2 cups flour

For the topping;
3/4 cup crushed hazelnuts
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg white

1 cup = 200 ml

Here's how

In a mixing bowl, combine room temperature butter, egg yolk, and powdered sugar. Mix with a spatula until the mixture becomes creamy.
Once the mixture reaches a creamy consistency, add the flour and baking powder. Knead the dough until you achieve a soft, non-sticky consistency. Avoid adding too much flour to prevent the dough from becoming too firm.
In a separate bowl, mix crushed hazelnuts and granulated sugar for the topping.
Roll pieces of the dough into balls using your hands.
Dip each cookie first into the egg white and then into the sugared hazelnuts.
Place the coated cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on the size of your cookies and your oven.
Once the bottoms turn pink and the tops lightly brown, your cookies are ready.
Allow the cookies to cool to room temperature before serving. Enjoy!
