Cookies for Valentine's Day ❤️ Jam Heart Cookies Recipe

This Valentine's Day, give your loved one a treat baked from the heart (literally!) with these delicious melt-in-your mouth cookies filled with jam. ❤️ We’ve added a dusting of powdered sugar to make them extra special.

They’re perfect for Valentine’s Day, but they also work for anniversaries, birthdays, or any time you want to show your love. ????

You'll need

150 g butter
60 ml vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups all-purpose flour

For filling:
Jam (any jam you prefer)

1 cup = 200 ml

Here's how

In a mixing bowl, combine egg, vegetable oil, powdered sugar, butter, flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
Knead the dough until smooth.
Transfer the dough onto parchment paper. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and roll out evenly with a rolling pin.
Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the rolled dough.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 13 minutes.
Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven.
Spread jam onto the heart-shaped cookies that will be used as the base.
Place another cookie on top to sandwich them together. Repeat for all cookies.
