Here comes the BEST recipe for easy homemade pickled jalapenos from scratch! Make these pickled jalapeños once, and you'll be hooked. You can enjoy these pickled jalapeno rings on nachos, sandwiches, pizza, and so much more. ????
You'll need
600g jalapeño peppers
For each jar:
1 tsp chickpeas
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp lemon salt
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp rock salt
1/2 cup grape vinegar
Hot water
1 cup = 200 ml
Here's how
Wash the jalapeño peppers and finely slice them after removing the stems. Be sure to wear gloves during this step, as the spiciness can linger on your hands.
Place chickpeas in the jars. Add garlic cloves and fill the jars with the sliced jalapeño peppers.
Add rock salt, lemon salt, powdered sugar, and grape vinegar to each jar. Then, fill the jars with hot water.
Seal the jars tightly to prevent air from entering.
After giving them a good shake, store the jars in a cool, shaded place away from direct sunlight. With these measurements, we obtained pickles in two 66 cc jars.
Your jalapeño pickles will be ready to enjoy in about a week. Enjoy!
