This no-bake coconut tart is an easy, stress-free dessert that only takes a few minutes to prepare. It is full of coconut flavor. ????????
If you are looking for that great no-bake treat, then you absolutely must make this coconut dessert. This is that one easy recipe you will make over and over again. ????
You'll need
For the base:
2 packets oat biscuits (260g)
1/2 cup hazelnuts
3 tbsp desiccated coconut
100g melted butter
For the filling:
200 ml heavy cream
2 packets whipped cream powder (150g)
60ml milk
100g labneh cheese
70g white chocolate
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup = 200 ml
Here's how
In a food processor, grind the oat biscuits and hazelnuts until they reach a flour-like consistency.
Transfer the ground hazelnuts and biscuits to a suitable bowl. Add desiccated coconut and melted butter, then mix well.
Pour the mixture into a round springform pan lined with parchment paper. Press it down with the back of a spoon to compact it and smooth the surface. We used a 24 cm diameter round springform pan for this recipe.
Place the base in the refrigerator and let it rest while preparing the cream filling.
For the cream filling, in a mixing bowl, whip the whipped cream powder, heavy cream, and milk until thickened.
Once the whipped cream has thickened, add labneh or cream cheese and melted white chocolate. Mix again with a hand mixer.
Finally, add desiccated coconut and fold it in with a spatula.
Retrieve the chilled cake base from the refrigerator. Pour the prepared cream filling onto the base and smooth it out.
Allow the cake to rest in the refrigerator for preferably 1 night or at least 2-3 hours.
Remove the cake from the springform pan and decorate the top as desired. We decorated by sprinkling desiccated coconut and placing coconut balls. Feel free to decorate in different ways. Enjoy!
