Merhaba! Hi Everyone with Turkish Simit Pogacha filled with white cheese (Feta Cheese). These savory pastries are so yummy with sesame seed coating, crunchy outside, soft inside and with a good recipe :) it is easy to make too!
Ingredients for Turkish Simit Pogacha:
3/4 cup lukewarm milk
2 full tablespoons butter at room temperature (about 60gr.)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg
About 4 cups all-purpose flour (don't use all at ones, add gradually after 3+1/2 cups)
1 tsp salt
For the filling about 300gr. white cheese, feta cheese or kashar, mozzarella cheese you can find on the market
For the sesame coating:
1 tbsp grape or other kinds of molasses
1 tbsp water
between 1/2 to 1 cup roasted sesame seed
