Easy Turkish Style Baguette & Braided Bread With Potato Filling

We are making a soft and easy baguette bread and a braided bread or pogaca as we say in Turkish with potato filling with the same yeast dough. The dough recipe is very simple and has a secret ingredient to make it softer and richer with a golden color.
Ingredients:
1 cup lukewarm milk
1/2 cup lukewarm milk
1/2 cup pumpkin pure either from can or pumpkin dessert if you have
1 tbsp dry yeast or 20gr. fresh yeast
2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp sour sponge (optional)
About 4 cups or more flour (use 1 cup whole wheat as an option)
1 tsp salt
For the potato filling for braided pogaca bread:
1 medium-size onion
3 tbsp olive oil
3 medium-size potato
red pepper flakes, ground black pepper and salt to taste
1 egg yolk, 1/2 tsp olive oil (for egg brush the pogacas)
