You’ll need

1 cup barley noodle
2-3 tbsp oil
1 long red pepper
1 carrot
1 cup boiled peas
2 cups hot water
Salt
1 cube chicken bouillon

Here’s how

1. Add oil in a large saucepan over medium heat, then add the barley noodle.
2. Add chopped red pepper, grated carrot, boiled peas and cook for about 5 minutes until vegetables have softened.
3. Finally, pour hot water and add salt and a cube of chicken bouillon and cover.
4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 45 to 50 minutes until barley noodle is tender and liquid is absorbed.
5. Enjoy!

You could add in other vegetables like chopped broccoli, or mushrooms, golden raisins, sliced almonds.. This recipe is a great base to add to and use up what you have!
