How to Make Peach Iced Tea | Homemade Peach Iced Tea Recipe ????????

You’ll need

3 ripe peaches
½ cup of sugar
1 lt water

For the tea:
2 teabags of black tea
400 ml hot water

Here’s how

1. In a medium saucepan, combine sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 lt of water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
2.In the meantime, steep your tea. Put the teabags in a large heatproof jug or a tea pot and pour over 400 ml of boiling water. Leave to steep for 5 mins.
3. After 5 minutes, carefully remove the teabags. Leave to cool, then transfer to the fridge until chilled.
4. Remove the simmering peaches from the heat.
5. Put the peach slices in a strainer and mash them with the back of a spoon. Then, let the peach syrup cool.
6.Combine cooled down peach syrup and tea. Then refrigerate until cool.
7. Fill up each serving glass with ice. Garnish with peach slices and fresh mint leaves if desired. And finally, pour the tea.
8. Simple homemade peach iced tea is ready to be served! Hope you enjoy!
