You'll need

125 g of softened butter
60 ml of vegetable oil
3 tbsp of water
2 tbsp of vinegar
1 egg
1 tsp of granulated sugar
2,5 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp of salt

To Brush & Coat
1 egg
1 tsp of molasses
Sesame seeds

Here's how

1- In a mixing bowl, gather 125 g of softened butter, 60 ml of vegetable oil, 3 tbsp of water, 2 tbsp of vinegar, 1 egg, 1 tsp of granulated sugar and 1 tsp of salt. Mix thoroughly.
2- Add in 2,5 cups of all purpose flour gradually while kneading.
3- Line the kitchen counter with parchment paper and roll the dough out to a rectangle.
4- In a separate bowl, mix 1 egg with 1 tsp of molasses
5- Brush the dough with the egg- molasses mixture.
6- Coat the dough with roasted sesame seeds and press gently on top with hands.
7- Refrigerate for an hour.
8- Cut 1 cm wide strips out of the dough.
9- Place the strips on a parchment lined oven tray.
10- Bake for 25 minutes in an oven preheated at 180 °C.
11- Crunchy sesame sticks are ready to serve.
